5 out of 5 stars Terrific song   November 23, 2008

This is an incredibly well-crafted song - beautiful lyrics, catchy tune, rock power for a bite, and, of course, David Cook's voice that ties it all together giving it meaning and substance. It is no coincidence that this song has been reviewed by professional critics as being U2esque. The song soars and stays with you like a nice warm ember.

2 out of 5 stars too Pop   November 23, 2008

I love this album, but this is my least favorite song on the album. One of the only 2 not penned by David Cook, it's clearly written to appeal to people who love the "pop" genre and not much else. The lyrics are simplistic, but the tune is catchy and hence it's popularity. I would recommend "Avalanche" as a much better written and beautiful romantic song on this album.

Beautiful song from a talented man. As far as the song -we've all been there. One of my favorites on a Brilliant Album. Ofcourse, "Lie" is a must too (the night before, maybe)!!!
