I've been a fan of Simply Red when "Holding Back the Tears" debuted. The vocals and arrangement was hauntingly amazing. But today, in an effort to steal some air-time, they've bastardized a classic Hall & Oats tune. What's more, they mixed the riff so loud that the lyrics are lost. Not that it matters, they don't have the poetry earlier works did. Definitely not worth purchasing - even for a SR fan.
